Over the years of working as a professional wedding DJ, I’ve noticed that many of my clients ask similar questions. So, I decided to put together this FAQ as a resource – not to provide answers, but as a guide for the types of questions you should ask to make sure you get the service you want!
After all, everybody has their own idea of what exactly will make their special day special. As professionals, it’s our job to meet those expectations. So if you’re looking to hire a pro wedding DJ in Houston, Spring, Conroe, or The Woodlands, I hope you’ll consider us. The Top Questions to Ask Your Wedding DJ
At RegenPro Entertainment, we always dress up for every event. Whether it’s a wedding or Quinceanera, we’ll always wear a dress suit or tux. Of course, if you have a preference, we’re happy to accommodate.
You certainly aren’t skimping out on your event, so why would we? When you hire us, we show up with reliable, state-of-the-art equipment that looks good, sounds good, and lives up to all your expectations (regardless of the type of music you prefer).
We sure are! Most venues in and around Houston prefer that the DJ be insured, and we’ll be happy to provide our information and copies of the insurance certificate to them the second you book your space.
We’re happy to accommodate requests providing we feel they’re appropriate to the event. At the end of the day, we work for you, so if someone requests something questionable, we’ll be sure to check with you first. We’re also happy to accept a “DO NOT PLAY” list from you ahead of time. This will ensure you have a bit more control over the music.
While we understand that this could help in your decision to hire us, we can’t invite non-guests to another client’s event. After all, we always try to respect our clients’ privacy. We hope you understand.
Always! Once we decide on a price, we’ll create a contract and secure a down payment. This contract will cover everything, from when we start and end to what duties we’ll handle.
We never travel to a gig without proper backup equipment in tow. This means extra speakers, backup mics, and any other equipment that might suffer unexpected damage or failure.
Whenever possible, I prefer to handle events myself. However, during the high wedding season and other busy times, we may need to have another Regeneration Productions DJ take control. Of course, we’ll always let you know who will be attending your event before you book. Also, you can rest assured that anyone I hire has my full endorsement.
Of course! When you hire RegenPro, you get more than just a DJ. We’ll also be your Master of Ceremonies throughout the event, handling announcements, introductions, and goodbyes.
We always try to show up at least two hours before the event. However, if you have special needs or requests, we may get there earlier. This gives us time to set up, check the equipment, and go over the event timeline in more detail.
This varies quite a bit depending on the package you choose and your specific needs. I can tell you that the average Houston wedding DJ costs at least $1000, and I wouldn’t recommend you spend much less than that. While we understand the desire to cut costs, at the end of the day, you want a professional with professional equipment!
